It is the purpose of Most Pure Heart of Mary Cemetery to provide a beautiful, dignified, and appropriate resting place for departed loved ones. We believe in, and are firmly committed to, the teachings and tradition of the Roman Catholic Church with regards to the Corporal Work of Mercy involved in the burial of the dead and the sacredness of the human body. Burial rights in MPHM Cemetery are reserved for Catholics and their non-Catholic family members.

Most Pure Heart of Mary Cemetery is financially independent of MPHM Parish's general operations. Income for the cemetery consists of grave sales and donations designated for the cemetery. All cemetery income is used exclusively for cemetery operations. It is costly to provide the perpetual care necessary to maintain the cemetery property and donations are needed to defray these expenses. We ask for your prayerful consideration to help us maintain a beautiful and dignified cemetery.

Official cemetery records are kept at MPHM Parish Office, 29 West Street, Shelby, Ohio. All business pertaining to the cemetery should be transacted through MPHM Cemetery Administration. Call the Parish Office at 419-347-2381 for cemetery information or grave purchasing.

Grave pricing:

• Section A: $300 per grave

• Section B: $500 per grave

• Section C: $700 per grave

• An additional $100 per grave is assessed for non-parishioners

• Infant graves are free of charge

• Opening and closing costs are additional and payable to Oakland Cemetery. Please note that grave pricing is subject to change.
